Sr. Marketing Manager - Photo Books

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Senior Marketing Manager of Photo Books will lead the development of Shutterfly’s marketing strategy for these areas, crafting an integrated, solution oriented marketing plan and calendar across our Photo Book line of products. This team member will work closely with their business, product and marketing counterparts to deliver plans that meet our business goals.

Responsibilities Include:

• Developing marketing strategies for Photo Books, including deep understanding of customer needs, barriers and levers; developing positioning and messaging against key target segments and drive times.
• Developing and executing annual marketing plans, with quarterly updates, to deliver on business and customer goals. This includes closely collaborating with key business as well as marketing counterparts in acquisition, brand, CRM and eCommerce to develop integrated plans.
• Managing incremental cross-channel programs to achieve growth objectives, potentially including grass-roots efforts or selected strategic marketing partnerships.
• Acting as champion/consultant for Photo Books across the marketing organization. Driving alignment of all related marketing communications to ensure consistency.
• Participation in business planning.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Eight or more years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, with specific experience in consumer driven brands and digital marketing. Solid understanding of retail and ecommerce.
• Proven track record in developing integrated marketing plans in a highly competitive market space.
• Balanced work style that demonstrates business acumen, a high level of intellectual agility and capacity for original thoughts, and the ability to drive results.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to successfully execute programs utilizing both direct resources as well as matrix resources. Success in a matrix organization.
• MBA preferred.
